High-tech dedusting systems: filtrations systems & more
We specialize in industrial dedusting systems for bulk material handling. Our filters and filtration systems – including accessories – are produced at our site in Schkopau. Because we produce our own products “Made in Germany”, we are able to meet the individual wishes and requirements of our customers. It goes without saying that our dedusting technology meets the requirements of TA Luft 2021.
In-house engineering is an integral part of designing and producing our dedusting technology and filter systems. The advantage for our customers: The filters are optimally adapted to the requirements of the respective application.
Our filters can be manufactured from stainless or standard steel. Regardless of which option our customers choose, both have one thing in common: Our production process is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Depending on the configuration of the existing plant, the filters can either be designed as:
- Bag filters
- Compact filters (top and stand-alone filter)
Of course, AML also provides you with operating and maintenance instructions as well as extensive spare parts lists for extraction and filtration systems used in controlling industrial air pollution.

Types of filters
Top filters with compact elements
Compact filter elements are used for filtration. These consist of a pleated (folded) filter medium which is two-dimensionally layered.
Usage
Our top filters remove dust from silos, bunkers and storage containers. The standard version is particularly suitable for dedusting all kinds of bulk materials in the building materials industry.
Filter principle
- The fan draws the contaminated air into the filter via the raw gas connection.
- Deposition of fine dust particles on the filter elements.
- The compact filter elements are cleaned by blasts of compressed air.
- The cleaned air is released into the environment on the discharge side of the fan.
- The regulation of the dedusting airflow rate is realized by a slider valve.
Advantages
- Long service life of the filter elements
- Very high separation values
- Compact design
- Easy to install, either vertically or horizontally
- Easy and quick to change the filter elements
- Easy to maintain
Technical data
- Standard design with normal steel for the building materials industry
- ATEX version for explosive dusts
- Stainless steel option, e.g. for the food industry
- Control unit: external or built-in
- Filter medium: compact filter elements
- Filter area: from 7 to 71 m²
- Air volume: from 400 to 4,300 m³/h
Series - Top filters with compact elements
Stand-alone filters with compact elements
The stand-alone filter is a state-of-the-art centralized deduster with versatile application possibilities.
Usage
Stand-alone filters are used to remove dust from one or more machines or plant components. Various sizes, materials and filter media allow the stand-alone filter to be optimally adapted to the customer’s requirements.
Filter principle
- The fan draws the contaminated air into the filter via the raw gas connection.
- Deposition of fine dust particles on the filter elements.
- The compact filter elements are cleaned by blasts of compressed air during operation.
- The dust collects in the cone and can be discharged, e.g. via a rotary valve.
- The cleaned air is released into the environment via the external fan. The fan is located in the clean air pipelines.
- The regulation of the dedusting airflow rate is realized by shutoff valves after the fan.
Advantages
- Long service life of the filter elements
- Includes a coarse particle pre-separator
- Very high separation values
- Small housing dimensions due to optimum air flow within the filter
- Can be flexibly adapted to the process engineering requirements
- Filter media can be changed on the clean gas side at normal working height
- Minimal maintenance required
Technical data

Bag filters
Bag filters are ideal for extreme environments such as heat and humidity.
Usage
Bag filters are primarily used for high air volumes as well as at high temperatures and increased humidity. They are particularly well suited for removing dust from explosive bulk materials such as coal or sulphur, as well as sticky and caking dusts (e.g. salts and fertilizers).

Filter principle
- The fan draws the contaminated air into the filter via the raw gas connection.
- Deposition of fine dust particles on the filter bags.
- The filter bags are cleaned by blasts of compressed air during operation.
- The dust collects in the cone and can be discharged, e.g. via a rotary valve.
- The cleaned air is released into the environment via the external fan. The fan is located in the clean air pipelines.
- The regulation of the dedusting airflow rate is realized by shutoff valves after the fan.
Advantages
- Suitable for use in high-temperature applications
- Resistant to humidity
- Higher filter area loads possible
